Johnny Clegg to reunite legendary bands

Cape Town - Johnny Clegg will reunite the original Juluka, Savuka and Johnny Clegg band for a once-off event to celebrate 30 years in the business.
The show will reportedly feature dancers and audio visual footage from Johnny's early years to present day. The concert will mark the first time that Juluka has been seen in Cape Town for 26 years.
The set will feature hit songs spanning Clegg's 30 year career, including Impi, Cruel, Crazy Beautiful World, I Call Your Name, African Sky Blue, Scatterlings and many more.

Johnny Clegg: 30-jähriges Jubiläum in Kapstadt

Zu „Johnny Cleggs 30-jährigem Jubiläumskonzert“ vereint sich die Juluka, Savuka und Johnny Clegg Band am 27. August in der Grand Arena zu einem einmaligen Konzert.

Crazy Beautiful World, I Call Your Name, African Sky Blue, Scatterlings – weltbekannte Hits aus Johnny Cleggs Karriere der vergangenen 30 Jahre werden zu hören sein. Untermalt mit Tänzern und Videos von Vergangenheit bis Gegenwart.

Ende der 70er Jahre gründete Clegg die erste gemischt-rassige Popgruppe Südafrikas, die sich Juluka nannte. In der Grand Arena des GrandWest Casinos in Kapstadt am 27. August kommt Juluka zum ersten Mal seit 26 Jahren nach Kapstadt.
